James Nicholson is a Cape Breton Highlands photographer with a passion for capturing the landscapes, coastlines and everyday moments that make northern Cape Breton so distinctive. Living in the Highlands gives James the opportunity to photograph the area in every season, from dramatic ocean weather and rugged shorelines to quiet sunsets and familiar local places. Through both traditional and aerial photography, his goal is simple: to share the beauty of the place he calls home and show the Highlands from perspectives people may not have seen before.
